DMK Youth Wing Member Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault and Murder of Toddler in Tamil Nadu

A 40-year-old DMK youth wing functionary, Periyanayagam, was arrested in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district for the alleged sexual assault and murder of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl, the child of his live-in partner. The child was declared dead at a hospital in December after health complications. A post-mortem revealed severe internal injuries consistent with sexual assault.
