The CBI has filed a preliminary charge-sheet against 16 individuals in connection with the Odisha police sub-inspector recruitment scam. The accused allegedly manipulated examination results through systematic malpractices. The charge-sheet includes documentary and material evidence, with nine individuals initially arrested by the Odisha Crime Branch and seven by the CBI. Investigations suggest a syndicate, potentially involving a Bhubaneswar-based IT company and its associates, manipulated the process. The recruitment examination was previously canceled due to a leak.
