Five Classmates Arrested in AIIMS Rajkot Intern Doctor's Suicide Case

A 25-year-old intern doctor at AIIMS Rajkot, Ratankumar Meghwal, died by suicide after leaving a 17-page note alleging physical and mental harassment by five classmates. Meghwal's body was found on railway tracks near Rajkot. Following a complaint by his father, police arrested the five accused under relevant laws. The court has permitted them to appear for their final-year MBBS exams under police security, as exams are scheduled to begin soon.
