Woman Dies in Fire at Bengaluru Residential Building, Others Rescued

A fire broke out on the night of March 2 in a four-storey residential building in Gayatrinagar, Bengaluru, resulting in the death of 53-year-old Savitha, wife of contractor Ramesh Babu. The fire reportedly started in the kitchen on the third floor where Savitha, her husband, their son, and Ramesh's mother were present. Savitha sustained severe burn injuries and died, while the others were rescued and hospitalized. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
