The RCF police in Mumbai have registered a case after the body of a newborn male infant was found abandoned in Chembur's Mysore Colony on December 29. The infant, approximately seven months old and wrapped in cloth, was discovered by a resident during a police patrol. Medical examination confirmed the infant was brought dead. A case has been registered against an unknown person under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act for concealing the birth and disposing of the body, with further investigation ongoing.
