A 20-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh's Bhadohi district has filed a complaint accusing her husband and in-laws of assault and mental abuse. She alleges her husband concealed a previous marriage before their wedding in April 2024. After discovering his relationship with another woman, whom he claimed as his wife, she was allegedly assaulted. Her in-laws reportedly confirmed knowledge of the prior marriage. Police have registered an FIR and are attempting to locate the accused family members who have reportedly fled their home.
