Man Arrested for Pushing Wife in Front of Train at Mulund Station

A 42-year-old man, Rajukumar Gupta, was arrested in Surat after CCTV footage showed him pushing his wife, Pushpa Gupta, 36, in front of a running local train at Mulund station on March 14. The couple had frequent disputes, and Pushpa had filed a police complaint earlier that day. Following the incident, the man fled with their younger son but was later apprehended. Pushpa was declared dead at a government hospital, and an FIR for murder has been registered.
