Karnataka Schoolchildren Found Safe After Alleged Abductor Crashes Motorcycle

Two Class 3 students from a government primary school in Dharwad, Karnataka, were reported missing during lunch break and feared kidnapped. CCTV footage showed a man leaving with the children on a motorcycle. The students were later found safe in Uttara Kannada district after the accused, identified as Karim Mestri, crashed his motorcycle near Dandeli. Mestri claimed he was taking the children to a religious fair. Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the abduction and rescue.
