In Indore's Vijay Nagar area, 51-year-old Hemant Brahmvanshi, an employee of Indore Premier Co-operative Bank, died by suicide during foreclosure proceedings on his mortgaged house. A recovery team from a nationalised bank arrived to seal the property following a court order after Hemant defaulted on a Rs 2.5 crore loan. Reports indicate he requested a day's extension to repay, which was denied, leading to his fatal shooting with a licensed firearm. Police are investigating the incident, examining bank records and other evidence.
