Air India Captain Files Complaint Over Rs 2.9 Crore Share Investment Scam

A 58-year-old Air India captain from Powai, Deepak D, was allegedly defrauded of approximately Rs 2.9 crore over nearly a decade by his relationship manager, Ajay Palith. Palith, who claimed to work with a reputed investment firm, reportedly misled Deepak by changing his registered email ID and providing manipulated capital gains reports. The victim invested in equity and derivatives between 2014 and 2025, later discovering discrepancies that led to a police complaint and an FIR registered at Powai police station.
