Maharashtra's Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) dismantled three mephedrone (MD) manufacturing units in Bengaluru, seizing drugs and raw materials valued at ₹55.88 crore. The operation, which began with an arrest in Navi Mumbai, led to the detention of four individuals allegedly involved in the production and distribution of MD drugs across India. Authorities destroyed the illegal units and are searching for two absconding suspects. Preliminary investigations suggest proceeds from drug sales were used to purchase property in Bengaluru.
