Cybercriminals made a video call showing a morphed image of their missing Class X son, demanding ransom via QR code. The boy had left for tuition and later visited a temple, not kidnapped. Police investigations revealed the money was withdrawn from an ATM in Bihar, with suspects using VPNs and SIM cards from Haryana, and possible local involvement in sharing the boy's information.
