Indore Family Defrauded in Suspected Deepfake Kidnapping Video Call Scam

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a family was defrauded of over Rs 1 lakh after receiving a video call showing a morphed image of their missing Class X son, who appeared threatened in a staged kidnapping. The family, fearing for his safety, transferred the money before the boy returned home unharmed.
