A Florida woman confessed to suffocating her 97-year-old mother, who suffered from Parkinson's and a thyroid disorder. The daughter stated that her mother had been denied assisted suicide by her doctor, and that they had previously discussed "death with dignity." Deputies responded to a death investigation and found the mother deceased with injuries consistent with homicide, including a purplish tinge on her skin and eye hemorrhaging. The daughter provided a confession after initial questioning.
