Drunk Driver Arrested for Dragging Traffic Constable on Car Bonnet in Hyderabad

In Hyderabad's Gachibowli area, 24-year-old Gurrampati Tarun was arrested after allegedly driving under the influence and crashing his Mercedes into another vehicle. When a traffic constable signalled him to stop, Tarun reportedly accelerated, causing the officer to fall onto the car's bonnet and be dragged for nearly one kilometer. The constable sustained minor injuries and is in stable condition. Police registered multiple cases, seized the vehicle, and remanded the accused to 14 days judicial custody while investigating the incident using CCTV footage.
