Police have arrested Salman Qureshi, a businessman, for providing logistical support in the murder of AMU teacher Rao Danish Ali. The killing, which occurred on campus, was allegedly planned by Zubair, recently released from jail, as revenge for Ali's role in Zubair's 2018 arrest. CCTV footage of a getaway car and a Facebook post hinting at violence led to Qureshi's arrest. Police are searching for Zubair and two alleged shooters, Fahad and Yasser. Students held a candlelight march demanding swift arrests.
