A Mumbai traffic police constable, Devidas Saste, died after falling from the footboard of a local train at Mulund station. Saste, who had a history of serious cardiac ailments and had undergone angiography, lost his balance while travelling home. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead. The police department is assisting his family.
