A police constable, Prasanna, has been booked in connection with a fatal car-motorcycle accident in Bantwal Taluk. The constable, driving the car, allegedly hit the motorcycle ridden by Imran alias S.A. Mohammed Taha, who died from injuries. While social media posts alleged intoxication, an alcometer test conducted in the presence of the victim's family showed no alcohol traces. A blood test is pending for further verification.
