A truck driver was killed when his vehicle, carrying gypsum, collided with another truck on the Agra-Etawah-Kanpur highway amid dense fog. The collision caused the gypsum-laden truck to catch fire, trapping and killing the driver. The incident led to significant traffic disruption for several hours. The deceased was identified as Jaskirat Singh from Sirsa, Haryana. Road safety statistics indicate a high number of fatalities on national highways.
