Malayalam film director and former MLA P.T. Kunju Muhammed was arrested and released on bail in connection with an alleged molestation case. The complaint, filed by a woman filmmaker, accuses Muhammed of outraging her modesty at a hotel while selecting films for the International Film Festival of Kerala. Police questioned Muhammed, and his arrest was formally recorded as per a court order granting him anticipatory bail and protection from arrest.
