Cyberabad traffic police apprehended 377 individuals for drunk driving during a special enforcement drive from December 26-27. Miyapur reported the highest number of cases with 48, while Kukatpally recorded none. The majority of offenders were two-wheeler riders. Blood alcohol concentration levels varied, with 21 motorists showing dangerously high readings. All offenders will face court proceedings. Separately, courts disposed of 55 drunk driving cases the previous week, with penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment and social service.
