In Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district, police have arrested Rajendra for allegedly killing his one-and-a-half-year-old son, Kartik, and disposing of the body in the Yamuna River. The arrest followed an FIR filed by the child's mother, Sharda, who was living separately due to marital discord and Rajendra's alleged alcohol addiction. Rajendra confessed to the crime during interrogation. Efforts are underway to recover the child's body.
