Five Booked in Faridabad Property Fraud Case Including Former MLA and Tehsildar

Faridabad police have registered a case against five individuals, including former MLA Chander Bhatia and the then Tehsildar of Badkhal, for alleged property fraud involving double registration of a house in NIT-1. The complaint by Rohit Arora, an Air Force employee, states he paid Rs 50 lakh for the property, which was registered in his name in June 2024. However, a second registration was made in November 2024 in another name. Investigations by the Economic Offences Wing are ongoing.
