He initially uploaded password-protected PDFs before exams, solicited payments by falsely claiming to provide exam papers, then replaced the files post-exam with actual papers. This created a misleading impression that papers were leaked beforehand. An FIR was filed against the Telegram group 'Maharashtraleakers' under relevant Maharashtra laws.
