A 52-year-old man, arrested on December 24 under the POCSO Act for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor, died of a heart attack. Identified as Arockiaraj from Madhavaram, he was lodged at Central Prison, Puzhal. Prison staff rushed him to Government Stanley Hospital after he experienced chest pain and seizure on Friday morning, where he was declared dead.
