Woman and Alleged Lover Arrested for Attempted Burning of Husband in Baghpat
In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, a woman named Neeshu and her alleged lover Vikrant were arrested for attempting to burn Neeshu's husband, Rajiv, alive. Rajiv was found severely burnt at his home on Saturday night and is receiving treatment in Meerut. The case was filed by Rajiv's father, alleging Neeshu and Vikrant poured petrol on Rajiv while he slept and set him on fire. Vikrant reportedly fled and threatened Rajiv after the attack. Police have registered a case and are investigating further.
