
The FBI has foiled a New Year's Eve attack plot in North Carolina, allegedly inspired by ISIS. An 18-year-old, identified as Christan Sturdivant, is accused of planning knife and hammer attacks targeting civilians and police. Investigators recovered a note detailing plans to stab up to 20 people. Sturdivant has been charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization. The FBI credited its partners for their collaboration in preventing the attack.
