CBI Arrests Two Ferozepur Railway Officials in Bribery Case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested two railway officials, Dharmbir from the Power Department and Vijay Kumar from the Carriage and Wagon Department, in Ferozepur on graft charges. The arrests followed a complaint by Pawan Kumar, a senior clerk at the Divisional Railway Manager's office, alleging the officials demanded Rs 60,000 to influence disciplinary proceedings against him. The CBI conducted an inquiry, laid a trap, and is investigating the case further, with no official railway statement yet.
