A passenger was arrested and remanded to judicial custody after allegedly stabbing a Railway Police Officer on the Malabar Express near Kottayam, Kerala. The officer, Sanal Kumar, sustained serious abdominal injuries when the passenger, Anil Kumar, reportedly attacked him with a knife after being asked to maintain order. The incident occurred as the train approached Kottayam station.
