Court Seeks NIA Response on Alleged Inducement in ISIS Link Case

Areeb Majeed, accused of joining ISIS and currently on bail, filed a complaint alleging that two individuals, including a woman claiming to be from the Indian Army, visited his home seeking his help and offered to 'wipe out' his pending case. Suspecting an attempt to influence his trial, Majeed refused entry and alerted authorities. The special court has issued notices to the National Investigation Agency and local police, seeking responses to the allegations. The matter is adjourned to March 4.
