A luxury car dealer in Mumbai has been booked by Bandra police for allegedly defrauding an Andheri-based businessman of ₹78.64 lakh. The complainant, Kalam Binani, invested in a partnership to buy and sell imported second-hand luxury cars, reportedly promised a 50% profit share and a 1% monthly return. The dealer, Mohammed Ali Furniturewala, allegedly delayed profit payments and took back a BMW car given as security, ultimately failing to return the invested amount.
