Eleven Arrested in Hyderabad Over Communal Incident Following Temple Damage

Hyderabad police arrested 11 individuals on January 19 in connection with a communal incident in Puranapool, triggered by the partial damage to a flex banner and a Plaster of Paris idol at the Mysamma Temple on January 15. Following this, an unlawful assembly allegedly vandalised the nearby Puranapool Chilla shrine and raised provocative slogans, disturbing public order. Police used CCTV and technical evidence for arrests, intensified patrolling, and urged communities to maintain peace while efforts continue to apprehend others involved.
