Dallas Pokornik, a 33-year-old Canadian and former flight attendant, was arrested in Panama and extradited to the US for posing as a commercial pilot and flight attendant over four years. Using fake employee IDs, including one from Air Canada, he obtained hundreds of free flights on three airlines and requested cockpit jump seats without pilot certification. The US Attorney's Office in Hawaii charged him with wire fraud; if convicted, he faces fines up to $250,000 and supervised release.
