Panchkula Police Initiate Asset Seizure of Brothers Linked to Heroin Trafficking

Panchkula police have initiated legal proceedings to attach a Swift car and a Pulsar motorcycle worth around Rs 7 lakh, allegedly purchased with proceeds from heroin trafficking by two brothers, Darpan and Karan of Khadak Mangoli. Both face multiple narcotics cases and were arrested in 2022 with heroin quantities. The action is under Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act as part of Haryana's 'Drug-Free Haryana' campaign. Police Commissioner Sibhash Kabiraj emphasized identifying traffickers, confiscating illegal assets, and conducting awareness campaigns.
