The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani's Mumbai residence, 'Abode', valued at approximately Rs 3,716 crore, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). This action is part of an ongoing investigation linked to an alleged bank fraud involving Reliance Communications and its group companies, with total attached assets now exceeding Rs 15,700 crore. The ED alleges the property was transferred to a family trust to shield it from liabilities. Ambani is expected to appear for further questioning.
