
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani's Mumbai residence, 'Abode', valued at approximately Rs 3,716 crore, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). This action is part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged Rs 40,000 crore bank fraud involving Ambani's group company Reliance Communications (RCOM). Ambani appeared before the ED in Delhi for a second round of questioning. The total value of attached assets in the case now exceeds Rs 15,700 crore. The probe follows Supreme Court directives and includes scrutiny of alleged corporate restructuring to shield assets.
