Two Dowry-Related Death Cases Under Investigation in Uttar Pradesh

Two separate dowry-related deaths were reported in Uttar Pradesh. In Muzaffarnagar, a 26-year-old woman allegedly hanged herself due to dowry harassment by her in-laws, leading to their booking for dowry death. In Ballia, a woman reportedly died after her husband and in-laws demanded Rs 20 lakh dowry; police registered a case alleging murder staged as suicide. Investigations and post-mortem examinations are ongoing in both cases.
