Multiple Habitual Drug Peddlers Detained Under NDPS Act in Dehra and Kurukshetra

Authorities in Dehra and Kurukshetra districts have detained multiple habitual drug peddlers under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Six offenders in Dehra, including Akashdeep Singh, were sent to Dharamshala jail for three months following police raids. In Kurukshetra, repeat offender Parvati was jailed for one year amid ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking, with several other repeat offenders also detained recently. Financial investigations and property attachments are underway against these individuals.
