Special Team Searches for Doctor in Kochi Hit-and-Run Case; Father Arrested

A special police team is searching for Dr Cyriac, accused in a hit-and-run that fatally injured 19-year-old Jasliya Johnson in Angamaly on February 28. Despite raids and a lookout circular, the doctor remains absconding. Jasliya was declared brain dead on March 3, and her family consented to organ donation. Police arrested Dr Cyriac's father for allegedly aiding his evasion. The case is registered as culpable homicide, and Cyriac has sought anticipatory bail.
