
A Chandigarh court sentenced three men—Rajinder (24), Shubham (22), and Kashim (18)—to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment for a 2020 dacoity in Mauli Jagran. They were convicted under Sections 395 and 397 of the IPC, with Rajinder and Kashim also found guilty under Section 411. The men robbed a pedestrian of Rs 600, his Aadhaar card, and a mobile phone at knifepoint and with a toy pistol. Fines ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 were also imposed. Proceedings against three other accused juveniles continue separately.
