Mumbai Police Book Man for Alleged Rs 47 Lakh Investment Fraud Involving Varsha Usgaonkar

Mumbai Police have registered an FIR against Avinash Jadhav, accused of cheating Marathi actress Varsha Usgaonkar, Mrunalini Subhash Jambhale, and three others of around Rs 47 lakh. Jadhav, who posed as a builder and film producer, convinced the victims to invest in a Dombivli construction project promising high returns and repayment within a year. Initial partial payments were made, but later stopped. The accused allegedly avoided contact and issued threats when confronted. Investigation is ongoing under IPC Sections 420 and 506.
