Fire at Ghatkopar Industrial Unit Injures Three, Extinguished After Three Hours

A fire broke out on the second floor of an industrial unit in Narayan Nagar, Ghatkopar West, Mumbai, at around 10:20 am, spreading across approximately 1,000 square feet. The blaze, possibly triggered by a short circuit during garment ironing, damaged electrical installations, furniture, and garments. Three workers—Riyazuddin (60% burns, critical), Haddis Ali (30%), and Valayat Ali (3%)—were injured and initially treated at Rajawadi Hospital before leaving against medical advice. The fire was extinguished after nearly three hours, with investigations ongoing.
