UP ATS Arrests Associate of Chhangur Baba in Religious Conversion Racket Case

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), in coordination with Maharashtra ATS and local police, arrested Idhu Islam, a close associate of self-styled godman Chhangur Baba, from Nagpur in connection with a religious conversion racket. The gang, active for over 15 years, allegedly used tactics like honey-trapping and targeting minors, with foreign funding traced through multiple bank accounts. Investigations include financial trails and property seizures. Chhangur Baba and associates face charges related to organized conversions and funding from abroad.
