Bengaluru Theft Attempt Leads to Assault Allegations and Police Investigation

In Bengaluru's Chokkanahalli area on January 31, 2026, Azgar Khan, an autorickshaw driver, attempted to steal electrical items from a residence with two associates. When confronted by the residents, a scuffle ensued during which the trio allegedly assaulted the couple, causing injuries. Neighbours gathered, leading to the associates fleeing and Khan being assaulted by some locals.
