Vadodara police have booked the owners of Eco Facility Management Services, a contractor for the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC), for culpable homicide not amounting to murder after a 40-year-old man died falling into an open drainage chamber. The victim's wife filed the FIR, alleging negligence by the agency for leaving the manhole open without warning after completing work. Police are investigating to determine if other individuals in supervisory roles were responsible, noting the agency owners are currently untraceable.
