The Bombay High Court has refused to quash a corruption case against a police constable, Subhash Kantilal Pawar, accused of negotiating a ₹10 lakh bribe. The court found sufficient evidence in recorded conversations indicating Pawar's involvement in discussing the bribe amount on behalf of a senior inspector. The case stems from a 2019 complaint alleging a bribe was demanded to submit a favorable report. The court stated that judicial interference is unwarranted as the investigation is ongoing and Pawar's role in the crime cannot be dismissed.
