Punjab Police Conducts 546 Raids, Arrests 148 on Day 36 of Anti-Gangster Drive

On the 36th day of Punjab Police's anti-gangster campaign 'Gangstran Te Vaar,' 546 raids were conducted statewide, resulting in 148 arrests and the recovery of two weapons. Since its launch on January 20, total arrests have reached 11,413. Concurrently, on the 361st day of the anti-drug campaign 'Yudh Nashian Virudh,' 88 alleged drug smugglers were arrested, with seizures including 5 kg of heroin. The police continue to encourage public cooperation through a helpline and promote de-addiction efforts.
