Railway Protection Force Seizes Narcotics and Arrests Offenders in Multiple Operations

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducted multiple operations in early 2026, seizing significant quantities of narcotics and contraband across different railway zones. In Northeast Frontier Railway, RPF arrested offenders involved in stone pelting and recovered over 50 kg of ganja and unclaimed liquor. Central Railway's RPF, in coordinated efforts with Government Railway Police, busted a narcotics smuggling syndicate, seizing 43 kg of ganja worth Rs 12.82 lakh in Nagpur and Kalaburagi. Cases were registered, and suspects detained in both regions.
