Trial Advances in Nasrapur Minor Rape-Murder Case with Final Arguments Scheduled
The trial of Bhimrao Kamble, accused of raping and murdering a three-year-old girl in Nasrapur, Pune, on May 1, 2026, has reached its final phase with arguments set to begin on June 20. The prosecution presented evidence from 55 witnesses and over 355 documents, including CCTV footage implicating Kamble. During court questioning, Kamble initially denied involvement but later admitted to being in the footage, claiming the child was injured after he slipped while carrying her. The prosecution alleges he lured, assaulted, and killed the girl, then attempted to conceal the crime.
