A Ludhiana resident has questioned the integrity of a police inquiry after his complaint against an ASI was assigned to a head constable at the same police post. The complainant, Jagsir Singh, alleges misconduct and verbal abuse by ASI Sukhwinder Singh on April 9. Singh filed a complaint on April 12, which was initially forwarded to Patiala before reaching Ludhiana. The inquiry was eventually assigned to a head constable working under the accused ASI, raising doubts about a fair investigation.
